Kate Giudice, Business & Studio Manager
Kate is the business & studio manager for the Weston studio. She manages the day to day activities and is the first person you meet when you walk in the door. Kate has been at Get in Shape for Women for the past 6 years and was the previous owner of the Cambridge studio. She finds joy in connecting with clients and learning everything she can about their health and fitness goals and how she can support them in their fitness journey.
Prior to working at Get in Shape for Women, Kate worked for 10 years in corporate marketing, where she focused on market sizing for emerging markets and was part of the creative team.She is an active member of the Wayland/Weston community and you can find her in free time taking her children to Land Sake in Weston or on the hiking trails in the Hamlen Woods. Kate is a proud Mainer and holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maine.
Maria Pennington, Owner
Maria first joined Get In Shape for Women as a member and within five months had lost more than 38lbs and not only transformed her body but also her spirit. The way she looked at her health, her nutrition and her physical abilities had completely changed so much so that she didn’t want to stop with her own transformation. She made it her mission to empower other women to reach their health and fitness goals.
A graduate of Boston University with a degree in Business and Marketing, Maria began her involvement with Get In Shape for Women in 2013; first as a member, then as the manager of the Weston studio. In 2014 she became the owner of the Winchester location. In 2016 she added a second location in Weston, MA. For the past 6 years in a row, Maria has been recognized as the top studio owner in the franchise for her studios’ results, retention and client satisfaction.
When not in the studio, Maria, can be found spending time with her husband Oliver and keeping up with her two active children, Quinn & Aria. They spend hours playing basketball, tennis, and even create their own family fitness challenges. It’s never too early to instill a love for fitness!
