Get In Shape For Women is a small group personal training model with a purpose to empower women through body transformation. In our model clients work in small groups of up to 8 with a nationally certified personal trainer who coaches form, technique, and nutrition in scheduled appointments to ensure accountability. We make small group feel like 1-on-1!

THE 4 COMPONENTS

WEIGHT TRAINING

Weight training is a vital part of the Get In Shape For Women system and is absolutely necessary in building lean metabolic tissue. Using our Workout of the Day (WOD) model, your trainer will use a range of equipment such as dumbells, kettlebells and suspension training for an ever-changing (and challenging!) workout that is designed to keep you away from dreaded plateaus and keep you moving towards your goal!

CARDIO

Our cardiovascular training is based on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), an enhanced form of interval training, alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. Just 2 weeks of HIIT can improve aerobic capacity as much as 6-8 weeks of steady state aerobic training! We also use a variety of equipment throughout each workout for a cross-training effect that will keep you constantly progressing towards your goal!

NUTRITION

We don’t subscribe to any one nutritional philosophy in our model. Instead, we want to make sure that our clients “know their numbers” and are accountable to them, regardless of whether they are vegan, paleo, on keto, or just want to focus on better nutrition that will support their healthy goals. The Get In Shape For Women Blueprint” model use a variety of documentation, videos, and in-session support to coach you on effective and accepted nutrition principles that will ensure you “know your numbers” and have a plan in play that will help you achieve your desired results!

ACCOUNTABILITY

One of our most important core values and something we know without a doubt is that , “Accountability leads to success!”  We help you clarify and establish measurable goals that you’re committed to then hold you accountable to achieve them within a safe and acceptable timeline. By setting scheduled workouts and conducting weekly weight and body BMI checks, we see changes in your body composition (lean muscle and bone, versus fat) as well as a sense of your hydration over time. This is a plan that will provide solid feedback to keep you motivated and on track to reach and maintain your fitness goals!

Get In Shape For Women, a small group personal training program with 35 locations across the U.S. was founded with the purpose of empowering women through body transformation. At Get In Shape For Women there are no intimidating crowds or waiting for equipment. All GISFW workouts are delivered by appointment in a private upscale boutique fitness studio. A highly skilled personal trainer works with up to 4 women at a time, for 30 or 60 minute sessions, delivering our unique 4 component system that is scientifically proven to work: Weight Training, Cardio, Nutrition, and Accountability.
